The car park barrier PG300 combines a proven 1-phase torque motor and an effective barrier control in a sturdy and functional cabinet. It allows for manual and automated operation.
The reliable direct drive is comprised of a maintenance free torque motor, a lever system for harmonious and bob-free barrier movement as well as springs to balance the barrier arm’s weight. The lever system locks the arm in both end positions.
Nevertheless, the barrier arm can be opened effortlessly in case of electricity failure. To do this, no tools are necessary and the barrier does not have to be opened. If the arm weight is subsequently changed, the springs can be adjusted on site. An automated opening of the arm can be achieved through a stronger spring set up.
In the end positions, the motor is generally kept energized and the low power consumption is converted into heat. This guarantees trouble-free operation even with low temperatures and prevents condensation in the motor and the cabinet.
The barrier arm comprises an octagonal, 1,6mm strong aluminum profile of 100 x 55 mm size. The profile is equipped with white rubber coating in RAL9010 and highly reflective red stripes. This allows for maximized visibility even at night.
For locations with limited ceiling height, a fold arm is available.
